The mission of UMC Utrecht is to be an international, authoritative university medical center. UMC Utrecht strives to make a strong contribution to the international network within our research areas.
We place great emphasis on internationalization within UMC Utrecht. The results are noticeable: increasing numbers of foreign researchers, the increasing role of EU grants and the presence of an internal funding scheme for international collaboration (Internationalization Committee). At present, we are creating a dedicated office dealing with practical issues of internationalization.
