The Utrecht University consists out of 6 Graduate Schools. One of them is the Graduate School of Life Sciences.
The Utrecht Graduate School of Life Sciences is an unique collaboration between the UMC Utrecht (former Faculty of Medicine), the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, the Faculty of Science and the Hubrecht Institute (an international renowned research institute in the field of developmental biology and stem cell research).
The Graduate School of Life Sciences in Utrecht consists out of 14 PhD programs.
The UMC Utrecht is responsible for the organisation and education of 7 of these PhD programs. The other 7 PhD programs are the responsibility of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and the Faculty of Science.
