Directorate Institute

Directorate of the Rudolf Magnus Institute

The Institute is organised in such a way as to coordinate and facilitate research, in order to maximise resources, expertise, and research impact. The Institute makes strategic decisions on the lines of research to be followed, based on parameters of research quality.

The Institute is formally managed by the Director, who is responsible for all scientific and organisational aspects of the Institute. The Directorate of the Institute consists further of a vice-Director, and the staff of the Office of the Institute:

  • Director, M. Joels
  • Vice-Director, J.H.J. Wokke
The research of the Institute is carried out in three departments, each representing a main line of research. The research of each department is organised in two or three sections formed around a central research theme. Each section has a coordinator and a vice-coordinator, who report directly to the Director.
