Structure of the Rudolf Magnus Institute
The Rudolf Magnus Institute is a multidisciplinary research institute of Utrecht University (since 1988) and the University Medical Center Utrecht (since 2000).
The core of the institute if formed by the Division of Neuroscience of the UMC Utrecht, which employs about 1000 healthcare professionals and scientists.
This division is formally linked to clinical & experimental neuroscience performed in
1) the department of Otorhinolaryngology (Division of Surgical Specialties),
2) the Division of Perioperative & Emergency Medicine,
3) the psychopharmacology group at University Utrecht, Science Faculty and
4) the division of Animal Welfare and Laboratory Animal Science at University Utrecht, Veterinary Faculty.
Together these groups form the Rudolf Magnus Institute (see scheme).
