Title research:
The impact of learning styles on cognitive rehabilitation

Summary research:
The application of knowledge of a patient’s individual learning style might support the
learning process in cognitive rehabilitation of persons with acquired brain injury (ABI).
Currently, little is known about the application of knowledge about learning styles in the
rehabilitation of patients with ABI. In this study we will examine the association between
learning styles and cognitive rehabilitation outcomes. We will evaluate and if necessary
modify, a measuring instrument for learning styles. In addition, a screening instrument will be developed that provides information about the patient’s learning ability.
