Title research line Brain Recovery and Reorganization in Children
Summary research
We are investigating brain plasticity and reorganization following cortical hemispherectomy in children. Reorganization of the remaining hemisphere is assessed using Voxel Based Morphometry and functional imaging. We also explore ways to manipulate and optimize brain recovery by introducing short intensive periods of novel approaches to physical therapy.
