Title research line Human brain MRI image processing and analysis
Summary research
My main topic of research is the image processing of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) brain scans and the further analysis of them in order to obtain useful information about human brain structures. This work includes: 1. Development of tissue and structure classification (segmentation) algorithms, especially the separation of gray and white matter in the brain; 2. Development of methods to investigate comparability of different MRI scans and application of these methods (multicenter reliability); 3. Analysis of data derived from processed MRI human brain images (modeling, statistics).
