Title research High resolution fMRI at ultra-high field (7T)
Summary research My research will focus on the development of high-resolution parenchyma-specific fMRI on a 7T human MR system. The goal of the project is to accurately identify cortical target regions for subsequent surgical implant of electrodes for Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) control. I work in an MR physics team, supporting the 7 Tesla apparatus, and in a BCI research team, and will compare fMRI localization with cortical EEG recordings in epilepsy patients.
