Title research Development and evaluation of a classification system of physical therapy, occupational therapy and sports therapy interventions in Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation
Summary research Until recently evidence of effectiveness and efficiency of Spinal Cord Injury rehabilitation has been typically documented in terms of unopened packages of rehabilitation. One of the key domains of SCI rehabilitation is mobility and selfcare. To improve quality of care and to create ‘evidence based’ fundament for multidisciplinary interventions in SCI we need to reveal the ‘black box’. With the development of a classification, e.g. by identifying therapeutic interventions in a clinically meaningful framework and by using uniform language we can compare contents of rehabilitation beyond the unopened package.
