This recently initiated project is based on the findings that certain type of misfolding (cross-beta structures) can influence the immunogenicity of proteins. Towards developing improved cancer vaccines, the specific goal of the current project is to determine the optimal type of cross-beta structure that increases the immunogenicity and the mechanisms behind this immune modulation.
