What special knowledge of yours could be of interest to your colleagues?: I am knowledgeable in the field of platelet transfusion medicine, the role of platelets in arterial thrombosis and Glycoprotein Ibα, the receptor for von Willebrand factor. I have experience with laboratory experimentation, including: FACS analysis, Western blotting, whole blood and washed platelet real-time perfusions, fluorescence microscopy and measurement of protein co-localization using Förster Resonance Energy Transfer (FRET) measured by Fluorescence Lifetime Imaging Microscopy (FLIM). Additionally I have some expertise in the field of business and economics for lifesciences.
