  • Immunath.

    Immunath is a EU KP6 consortium coordinated by Gerard Pasterkamp. Partners are Karolinska Instute (Dr Zhong), Lund University (Dr Nilsson, Dr Bjorckbacka), Imperial College (Dr C Monaco), Erasmus University (Dr J Laman), ICIN, Cavadis, Bio-Invent and Opsona.

  • TI Pharma.

    TI Pharma is an initiative sponsored by the Dutch government. The laboratory is involved in one of the consortia: Toll Like Receptors together with multiple partners among whom Dr J Kuiper (LU), Dr P Quax (LUMC, TNO) and Organon.

  • Singapore Genomics Institute, Biopolis.

    In multiple projects collaborations exist with Dr SY Lim and Dr Sze.

  • AMC, department of Cardiology.

    The board of directors of the AMC and UMCU have provided a grant to Prof Dr JJ Piek and Dr G Pasterkamp to intensify collaborations. Sofar this has resulted in the writing of 3 theses.

  • Athero-Express.

    The following partners collaborate in the Athero-Express study. The vascular surgery department UMCU (Prof F moll), the vascular surgery department Antonius Hospital Nieuwegein (Dr JP de Vries), the pathology department of Antonius Hospital Nieuwegein (Dr C Seldenrijk, Dr P de Bruin), pathology department UMCU (Dr A Vink), the genomics institute Singapore, the thoracical surgery department Nieuwegein (Dr R Heymen).
  • Circulating Cells.

    Many partners collaborate in this consortium. Direct collaborations of the laboratory are present with Prof Mat Daemen (Pathology, AZM), Philips, Prof Nico Pijls (Catharina hospital, Eindhoven), Prof M Prins (TUE, Eindhoven), Prof P de Groot (UMCU), Orbus Neich, ICIN, Cavadis and Prof Peter van der Spek (Erasmus University) .

  • Toll Express.

    Toll Express studies are executed in close collaboration with Prof Nico Pijls, Catharina Hospital Eindhoven.
  • Cavadis.

    This Biomarker Startup company was initiated in 2007 and founded by the Holdings of the UU and the Erasmus University. Biomarkers from Athero-Express are patented and added to the portfolio of cavadis. The targets have been discovered with the bioinformatics research group at the Erasmus University (prof Peter van der Spek). For more information upon the activities of Cavadis follow www.cavadis.eu
  • ICIN.

    The ICIN is coordinating centre for many studies in our laboratory among which Immunath and Circulating Cells. For more information see www.ICIN.nl.
