Dutch National Board for DNA-diagnostics (LOD) and of Cytogenetics (LOC)
The Genome Diagnostics Section is member of Dutch National Boards for DNA-diagnostics (LOD) and of Cytogenetics (LOC). These boards are the working groups of the experts of the Dutch Society of Clinical Genetic Laboratory Diagnostics (VKGL).
The primary goal of the Dutch National Boards for DNA-diagnostics and Cytogenetics is to ensure the availability of a growing number of high quality diagnostic tests for hereditary and congenital disorders.
The Dutch National Boards for DNA-diagnostics and for Cytogenetics are embedded in an organisation which unites genetic research, DNA-diagnostics, Cytogenetics, biochemical (enzyme) diagnostics and genetic counselling. The DNA-diagnostic and Clinical Cytogenetics laboratories have the exclusive right and permission to perform genetic tests for hereditary and congenital diseases. For requesting DNA diagnostics in the Netherlands, please see the website of the Dutch National Board for DNA-diagnostics.
It provides an actual list of all genetic analysis that are undertaken by the DNA-diagnostics laboratories in The Netherlands.
