Welcome to the website of the Laboratory of Pediatric Cellular Immunology

Our research effort focuses on the mechanisms that underlie cell migration and antigen processing- and transport pathways in antigen presenting cells of the immune system. Elucidation of these mechanisms should yield insight in the development of potent immune defense to microorganisms and to the maintenance of immune homeostasis.

We aim to elucidate pivotal mechanisms involved with pediatric diseases, to facilitate the development of new intervention strategies.
