The department of Medical Microbiology is involved in teaching medical microbiology to students receiving training in medicine and medical biology. The department contributes to bachelor and master programs of both studies. In addition, the department participates in the master program Immunity and Infection within the master biomedical sciences. Finally, the department is part of the Eijkman Graduate School for Immunology and Infectious Diseases in which it contributes to advanced courses for PhD students.
