There are several possibilities for doing one of your Research Projects (internships) in our Department. If you participate in one of the Master’s Programs Biology of Disease or Cancer Genomics and Developmental Biology, you can do a 9 months (51 ECTS) or 6 months (33 ECTS) project in our lab. Students from other Programs can contact us to see if they qualify for a project with us. The contact person is

We stimulate the development of your academic skills during your stay in our department. The following aspects will hopefully contribute to your becoming an independent and critical scientist:
- Analysis of scientific papers
- Learn how to develop new hypotheses, based on information from the literature
- Present you data regularly during our weekly research meetings
- Write a report of your project in the form of a scientific article
- Give a final presentation of all your work, with an emphasis on integration and discussion
- Report and present everything in English
