Students biomedical sciences are welcome to conduct their 6 or 9 months research projects in the Orthopaedics lab. Depending on the available project, expertise in cartilage or bone research topics can be built up, under supervision of a PhD student and a senior scientist. Some of the most common techniques used are: (stem) cell culturing, bioluminescence, tissue printing, cell biological and biochemical assays and animal studies.
