Focus
Research in the Department of Pathology focusses on "Immunology and infectious diseases" and "Oncology", two of the seven main programs of UMC Utrecht Research. There is a clear relation between fundamental research and research in the field of clinical pathology.
Participation
The Department of Pathology participates in the Eijkman Graduate School for Infectious Diseases & Immunology, and in the Utrecht School of Cancer Genomics and Developmental Biology.
