She did her thesis work at the Radiotherapy Department of the University Hospital Maastricht, the topic was choline PET imaging of patients with prostate cancer. Since 2005 she has been working as a PhD student at the Radiotherapy Department of the University Medical Centre Utrecht. Currently, she is investigating the clinical rationale of daily on-line MRI anatomy observation in image guided radiotherapy.
