The topics of his thesis were the development of a 3D point-based delineation strategy and the quantification of delineation variations in radiotherapy. After his graduation, he started working as a computer scientist at the Radiotherapy Department of the University Medical Center, Utrecht. Besides developing research software and making research software suitable for clinical use, he is working on EPID position verification and image fusion.
