m.a.moerland[at]umcutrecht.nl Rien Moerland graduated in Experimental Physics with specialisation Magnetic Resonance Imaging at Delft University of Technology 1986. Since then he has been working at the University Medical Center Utrecht, department of Radiotherapy with focus on the use of MRI in Radiotherapy. He obtained the PhD degree from the University of Utrecht in 1996. Since 1990 he is clinical physicist with topic brachytherapy, and performs research on MRI guided brachytherapy for prostate cancer.
