About Natascha Cuper started her study Veterinary Sciences at the Utrecht University in 1998. She graduated in 2005 and after some clinical work started a two-year research project at Medical Technology & Clinical Physics in January 2007. After promising results of the first study in collaboration with the Clinical and Haematological Laboratory, a grant proposal was applied and granted, enabling Natascha to prolong her project with another two years, turning it into a PhD project. The second part of the PhD project is performed in collaboration with the Division of Perioperative and Emergency Care and Image Sciences Institute.
Interests and focus
The use of near-infrared light for visualization of blood vessels to facilitate puncturing of blood vessels.
