About
Maurice Pouw is a resident in the Department of Anesthesiology at the University Medical Centre Utrecht.
He joined the Patient Safety Centre of the University Medical Centre Utrecht as a PhD student in 2008. His PhD project concerns the development of feedback tools for examining long-term, patient-related outcomes in order to assess delivered quality of care.
Maurice is also involved in the evaluation of the applicability of hospital performance indicators such as the Hospital Standardized Mortality Ratio. In addition to an MD, he has a Master of Science degree in Econometrics from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam.
