About Sandra Numan is the coordinator of the clinical research unit.
The research unit consists of 5 nurses, working on several research projects. The clinical research unit is focused on the following topics: chronic pain, neurocognitive dysfunction, cardiovascular anaesthesia, perioperative inflammation and optimizing quality and safety in perioperative care. Aim of the research unit is to conduct research projects for the staff anesthesiologists and PhD students. The nurses are trained to conduct trials within the Good Clinical Practice guidelines.
