It is of importance to communicate the results of our research with other researchers world wide in the field (scientific publications), with colleagues in the field of medicine including health professionals and patients organizations (profession publications), and major general findings should be documented in text books (book chapters).
Within the field of rheumatology there are several high standard journals amongst them ‘Arthritis and Rheumatism’, ‘Annals of Rheumatic diseases’, ‘Rheumatology’, and ‘Osteoarthritis and cartilage’ (see links). Publications in these journals are frequently cited by authors in the field, giving them a high impact factor (IF; top 25%).
