The clinical expertise on the antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) of Ron Derksen (MD) and the biochemical expertise of Flip de Groot (PhD) is reflected by a longstanding collaboration between the Thrombosis and Haemostasis Laboratory of the department of Clinical Chemistry and Haematology and the department of Rheumatology & Clinical Immunology.
There have been five successful PhD projects thus far (Danielle Horbach, Marleen Simmelink, Bianca Lutters, Bas de Laat en Maarten Pennings).
