Three theses in a row have been delivered in a fruitful collaboration between the Van Creveld clinic, a national center for treatment of haemophilia patients and our department. It started in 1998 with the thesis of Goris Roosendaal, one of the clinicians of the Van Creveld clinic, followed by the thesis of Michel Hooiveld in 2003 and recently Nathalie Jansen in 2008, both biomedical scientists. At present a fourth PhD study is ongoing (Monique van Meegeren).
