Biografie

Dr. Moayeri heeft zijn opleiding tot neurochirurg in 2015 afgerond. Na zijn studie geneeskunde promoveerde hij op de anatomische en klinische aspecten van locoregionale anesthesie in de zenuwnetwerken van de armen en benen. Om zijn interesse in zowel de klinische als wetenschappelijke aspecten van de wervelkolom meer vorm te geven, werkte hij een jaar in Toronto Western Hospital (Canada). Zijn expertisegebied betreft alle facetten van de wervelkolom chirurgie.
 

Wetenschappelijk onderzoek

- Onderzoek van de anatomische en klinische aspecten met betrekking tot vascualaire schade aan de vasculaire hoofd/hals vaten.
- Onderzoek naar de klinische aspecten met betrekking tot wervelkolomgerelateerde (post-operatieve) hersenvocht lekkage.
- Onderzoek naar de langetermijn resultaten van minimaal invasieve (lumbale) decompressies, in samenwerking met de Universiteit van Toronto/Toronto Western Hospital.
