Preparing for your outpatient appointment
Welcome to the UMC Utrecht. You will soon have an appointment at the outpatient clinic. Before this appointment there are a number of things you can do to prepare yourself well.
What to do.
What will you take with you?
- A valid ID
- Your insurance card or health insurance card
- A current list of the medications you are taking. You can pick this up at your pharmacy.
- Your (digital) lab form if you need to have blood drawn or submit urine/other materials before your appointment.
How do you prepare for your interview?
Cold symptoms?
Are you suffering from cold symptoms, but feel well enough to come to the hospital? Then your appointment can go ahead as usual. However, we do ask you to wear a mouth-nose mask: you can get this at the main entrance of the hospital (both UMC Utrecht and WKZ). To prevent the spread of viruses, we do not shake hands in the hospital.
First appointment
Before your first appointment, all your data must be complete and up to date in My UMC Utrecht. You can do this yourself by logging in to My UMC Utrecht. Do you need help? Please stop by the registration desk near the main entrance before your appointment. Our colleagues will be happy to help you.
