Lotte Slenders, scRNA-sequencing of human carotid atherosclerotic plaques
Within the AtheroExpress biobank, we recently have expanded our database with single cell RNA sequencing of human carotid atherosclerotic plaques. The research involves investigating the expression of GWAS loci, sex differences and cell trajectories with a focus on smooth muscle cell and endothelial cell populations in plaques.
