Magazines and (audio) books with the Wait app
While in the hospital, it's nice if you or your child can relax or get some distraction. That's why we offer free access to magazines, books and audiobooks through the app Wait.

- Go to the Appstore, Google Play or www.wait.nl/app on your own cell phone or tablet.
- Search for Wait and download the free Wait app.
- Open the app and enable your location information. Based on your location, the app will give you free access to magazines, books and audiobooks.
- You can now read magazines and listen to books for free.
- For hospitalized patients, the Wait app can also be accessed via infotainment (tablet at your bedside).
Tip
When you already download the Wait app at home, you will get instant access to Wait magazines and (audio) books in the hospital. At home, you will not have access yet.

- Everyone who is in the UMC Utrecht or Wilhelmina Children's Hospital gets free access.
- For both children and adults.
- Patients who are admitted can also use the Wait app via infotainment (tablet at the bedside).

- The Wait app is linked to the UMC Utrecht and Wilhelmina Children's Hospital locations.
- Access to the magazines and (audio) books on the app is free at these locations.
- Going home again? Then the magazines and books are no longer free to read or listen to.
- Use of the Wait app is completely anonymous. No personal data are stored.
