Masters program and internships

The international Master’s in Neuroscience & Cognition teaches young scientists the fundamental principles of neuroscience and trains them to perform neuroscientific research within a multidisciplinary team. Students may choose, at the application, between two tracks within the program: Experimental and Clinical Neuroscience and Cognitive Neuroscience. Annually, up to 55 students are admitted after careful selection, based on past performance and motivation.

The field of neuroscience and cognition comprises a vast multidisciplinary research area which overall aims to understand normal and pathological brain function. It is exactly this multidisciplinary nature that makes the field so interesting and challenging. This international master will give you insight in the fundamental principles of the field.

There are ample opportunities for internships at the Brain Center. A large variety of research topics in clinical and experimental neuroscience, all under supervision of well-trained researchers, are available for students from our own and other Master’s programs.
