You have been referred

You have a referral from your family doctor, health care provider or specialist. Once the referring physician has sent it, UMC Utrecht will contact you to make an appointment. This may take some time.

What do I need to do after the referral?

You do not have to do anything. We will contact you (via a 088 number) with the contact information we get through from the referrer. If you cannot answer, please call us back.

If you need surgery, you would prefer to get your turn as soon as possible. For some surgeries, the wait time is now longer than normal across the country. Unfortunately this is also the case at UMC Utrecht.
