Making a first appointment
If you wish to make a first appointment, you will need a referral from a referring physician (for example, your general practitioner). If you have been referred, you do not need to contact us. We will contact you after we receive your referral, unless otherwise stated.

Almost always, referrals are sent directly to us. We will contact you after we receive your referral, unless otherwise noted. You do not need to do anything.
Occasionally, the referral states that you must make the appointment with UMC Utrecht yourself. Is this the case with you? Use the link below to find the right outpatient clinic. On the page of the outpatient clinic you will find the contact information.
