New UMC Utrecht research website ‘live’

Recently, the new UMC Utrecht research website has become available. With new capabilities and a and modern ‘look and feel’, this website will be a useful tool to present our researchers as well as UMC Utrecht’s achievements and projects related to research, innovation and valorization.
All research at UMC Utrecht deserves to be visible, findable and presentable. The brand new UMC Utrecht research website is the perfect platform! Here, we are building an extensive presentation of all research groups, programs, publications, news, profiles and talent at UMC Utrecht. Also the I&I homepage has been redesigned and extended, In addition to a general description of the strategic program and a news section, the new page now also contains a section with so-called ‘long-reads’ (REMAP-CAP, microbiome, immunology of pain, and more to come), a calendar and an overview of important research collaborations.
It is important to stress that this website was developed with help and input from many UMC Utrecht researchers. Although many features are already available in the current release, please note that the site is still under development. In order to keep the website up-to-date, we will continue to develop and add new functionalities as they become available.
Group pages
Earlier this year, all research groups have been invited to submit the necessary information to fill a basic group page (with a description of the research focus, key group members and contact information). However, we are currently developing also an extended version of the group page that is capable of including most of your wishes. Therefore, soon you will be able to create a full website for your research group, which you can curate yourself. This site will allow you to display dynamic content, detailed information about your team, and showcase more aspects of your research. Enjoy the benefits of being part of the professional UMC Utrecht website, offering improved visibility and findability. We anticipate that this extended group page will become available before the end of this year.
Pure Visibility Check
The new research website also allows for an integration with the Pure portal. Via this portal you as a researcher have now the possibility to publish your researcher profile and make yourself as well as your research and scientific publications more visible to the outside world. To profit optimally from this feature, please make sure that your personal page (based on your Pure profile) is complete and up-to-date. For more info on how to optimize your personal web presence and Pure profile, please visit the dedicated page on Connect.
We're not done yet!
