Peter Hermans
Combining three decades of academic and pharmaceutical experience, Peter Hermans is molecular microbiologist by training, and Professor in Infection and Immunology Trials at UMC Utrecht. He gauges the needs and bridges the gap between the UMC Utrecht’s lead-PIs and pharmaceutical companies like none other. He aims to accelerate medical innovations in infectious diseases and immunological disorders for the good of patients (see LinkedIn). Therefore, he continuously seeks to accomplish strategic partnerships with relevant parties, in particular biotech and pharmaceutical companies. Within U-TRIAL, Peter Hermans is leading U-TASK, the Phase One Unit of the UMC Utrecht, serving all disease areas within the UMC Utrecht.
