On October 1st, UMC Utrecht successfully celebrated Diversity Day. Chair of the Executive Board Margriet Schneider kicked off the gathering by expressing how important diversity and inclusion are to the UMC Utrecht.
Programme Coordinator of Biomedical Sciences and senior fellow Inclusive Edcation Gönül Dilaver then presented an overview of the efforts and accomplishments of UMC Utrecht’s Platform Diversity & Inclusion. After that, trendwatcher Daniëlle Schreurs shared with the audience examples of societal developments impacted or driven by diversity and inclusion in an interactive session in which the attending.
