Het UMC Utrecht, RIVM en Nivel werken mee aan het opzetten van een Europees netwerk om het RS-virus te onderzoeken. In dit netwerk gaan Europese gezondheidsorganisaties en laboratoria gegevens uitwisselen over de verspreiding van het RS-virus. Dit zorgt voor beter zicht op het virus.
